First semester AY 2026-2027

I will teach the Second Language Acquisition 1 (10629587) course in the first semester with the following timetable:

• Tuesday: 14:00–16:00, Room 109 (Marco Polo campus)

• Thursday: 12:00–14:00, Room C (Vetrerie Sciarra campus)

The Google Classroom for the course is active and can be joined using code oajtczvq.

Classes will start on Tuesday, 29 September.

Office hours will be held every Tuesday, 12:00–13:00, starting from 29 September. No need to book in advance; just pop into my office (Office 208, second floor, Marco Polo building).

Students who want to renounce their mark can send me an email BY Saturday, 4th July, otherwise I will assume that you want to accept it. Grades will be recorded as soon as Infostud becomes available again. Don’t worry, I will register them automatically.

English Language 1 and 3 students only, please, read CAREFULLY what follows. 

Your marks have been already calculated according to your Lettorato grade (where available). Students who have not taken/passed the Lettorato exam yet, can't verbalise their mark (as indicated in the table above by the symbol '+'). This means that Infostud will send you an email to tell you that you've renounced your mark. THIS IS NOT TRUE! You've simply renounced its verbalisation. When you pass the Lettorato exam, you'll send me an email and then book the first exam date available to verbalise.

English Language 3 students must send me proof that they have completed the verbalisation of the English Language 2 exam; otherwise, I will not be able to record their mark.
