Classical problems in geometric analysis involve the existence, regularity and presence of possible singularities of minimal surfaces, along with the study of manifolds admitting metrics with prescribed curvature. These problems constitute a natural bridge between a wide class of partial differential equations and problems in geometry and mathematical physics. They present important aspects that are not yet fully understood from both an analytical and geometric standpoint, attracting much attention from a broad international scientific community.
