In the last years compact hyperkaehler (HK) manifolds have been intensively studied by algebraic geometers. Their study is strictly linked to deformation theory (via their moduli spaces, moduli of Lagrangian submanifolds and so on).
New techniques in deformation theory was developed in order to tackle problems in this area of research.
This project focuses on moduli of sheaves on HK’s varieties, Chow rings of HK’s varieties, homotopy methods in deformation theory, formality problems and higher obstructions to deformation problems.
