spiegazione e note: ‘to get’ ha tre significati principali.
1. ‘to get’ + aggettivo = diventare (per es. I get ready = mi preparo, letteralmente ‘divento pronto’)
2. ‘to get’ + sostantivo = ottenere, prendere, entrare in possesso, ricevere (per es. I get a call = ricevo una telefonata, I get a mark = prendo un voto, I get the bread = prendo il pane )
3. ‘to get’ + luogo = arrivare (I get home = arrivo a casa, I get to work = arrivo al lavoro).
