10. "Non ti è piaciuto questo sugo, vero?"  "Si che mi è piaciuto – se ce n’è ancora, posso riprenderne?"

11. "Tua suocera vive sopra di voi, vero?"  "Vive nello stesso palazzo, ma non sopra di noi, per fortuna."

12. "Vi siete dimenticati di prendere il pane, vero?"  "Il pane invece l’abbiamo preso, ma ci siamo dimenticati il vino."

8. Your sister doesn’t eat meat, does she?  No, she doesn’t eat meat, but she does eat fish very willingly.

10. You didn’t like this sauce, did you?  I did like it - if there’s any left, can I have some more?

11. Does your mother-in-law live above you?  She does live in the same building, but not above us, fortunately.

12. You forgot to get the bread, didn’t you?  We did get the bread, but we forgot the wine.
