Silvia Morra graduated in Sciences of International Cooperation and Development at Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2013 she works in the field of international protection and migration. She collaborated with the Prefecture of Rome and with Caritas Rome in the role of socio-legal operator and case manager for asylum seekers and refugees, she was trainee at the Protection Unit of UNHCR in Rome. As researcher for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) she took part in the project “Biometric data in large EU IT-systems in the area of borders, migration and asylum”. She is currently UNHCR member of the Territorial Commission for the Recognition of the International Protection of Trapani.
