Marta Capesciotti holds a PhD in Public Law and Economics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (with a dissertation on the housing right of immigrants) and has acquired knowledge concerning immigration legislation in Italy and in the EU legal framework, with a focus on the access of immigrants to basic fundamental rights, including the right to proper housing and the right to nationality. She also obtained a M. Sc. in Gender Equality and Diversity Management in 2016. She currently is researcher at the Fondazione “Giacomo Brodolini” (Rome) and she is in charge of the reporting and field research activities for the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) of the European Commission.
