Marco Benvenuti is Associate Professor of Institution of public law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He holds the National Academic Qualification as full professor in Constitutional Law (competition sector 12/C1). He holds a PhD in co-tutorship with European Label and during his career as researcher he has acquired a deep scientific expertise on asylum and immigration law within the European legal framework, as well as on other EU-related topics (e.g. the economic governance of the EU) as evidenced by his publications. He participated to several research projects funded by the EU (e.g. FRA) and international organisations (e.g. UNHCR). He presently teaches the class of Models of Federalism and Multilevel Constitutionalism in the Master Programme in Development and International Cooperation at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
