Elisa Olivito is Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, where she teaches Constitutional Justice. She holds a PhD at the University of Perugia. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Toronto, at Harvard Law School and at the Universidad del Cuyo of Mendoza (Argentina). A former editor-in-chief of the Italian Constitutional Association online review, she is a member of the editorial staff of: Democrazia e diritto and Costituzionalismo.it. She has written on affirmative action policy and gender issues, surrogate motherhood, migration and multiculturalism, secularism and religious symbols, legal fictions, participatory democracy, housing rights, constitutional justice.
