Elena Paparella is an Assistant Professor of Public Law and holds a PhD in Public Law and Economics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza”. Presently, her main research interests and topics are law and economics, social rights, the European integration process (especially in the perspective of the institutional framework of the European monetary union), immigration (focusing on the protection of fundamental rights and citizenship of the second generation of immigrants), labour market and protection of workers’ rights. In the a.y. 2017/18 she taught “Competition Law and Enforcement” at the University of Rome "La Sapienza”.
