Cassini Junior workshop 2020

Artificial intelligence: A GLIMPSE Of TECHNIQUES, ETHICAL issues & INTERACTION WITH HUMANITIES

June 12, 2020 - Rome, Italy

SARS-Cov-2 OUTBREAK

At now, we are hopeful that the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak will not affect the Cassini workshop, supposed to be held in Rome on June 12, 2020. In case of persistency of the current situation, we are going to hold the workshop sessions and the round tables online.

ABOUT

As Ph.D. students of the Sapienza School for Advanced Studies, we have been organising this workshop after winning the Cassini competition. The French Embassy in Rome, together with the French Institute, launched this call for proposals in order to encourage Italian Ph. D. students to establish relevant scientific relationships with French universities and research centres.

We decided to title this workshop Artificial intelligence: A glimpse of techniques, ethical issues and interaction with humanities. Our choice stems from our interdisciplinary approach and the current relevance of the topic. We hope this event will help participants to better understand what is behind the multiple faces of the 21st century groundbreaking technology.
