Ako A. Jaafar is an assistant lecturer at Qaiwan International University, where he has devoted most of his time to teaching and research in higher education. He has extensive experience in professional system development and banking systems. He has been a former information technology leader in the banking sector for fifteen years.
Ako has been teaching at universities for eleven years. During his teaching career, he taught system development, system design, and e-commerce. He is a professional system developer who participates as the lead developer of several financial and banking systems. He has a master's in computer science from the University of Technology Malaysia, and he is currently studying for a PhD. In computer science at the same University
