A Modern Introduction to Number Theory
Overview
This is the website for a summer school in number theory held in Pisa, Italy, from 1 to 6 of September 2024.
The summer school was aimed at advanced Master's students and beginning PhD students. The courses covered some of the basic tools of modern number theory: class field theory, elliptic curves and arithmetic statistics. In addition to the lectures, we also had interactive tutorials to help participants put the theory they were introduced to into practice.
