Summer school in Generative and Explainable AI in Pisa:
In recent years, Generative AI, has achieved significant success in various domains such as vision, language, and finance. Additionally, there is a growing interest for translating these theoretical advancements into products capable of addressing real-world problems. This course aims to equip participants with the latest knowledge and skills in generative and explainable AI. We will bring together some of the world’s leading researchers from both academia and industry covering the latest advancements and the current state-of-the-art in these fields. Therefore, in this school, we plan to provide participants with upskilling in the latest developments in generative AI - theory and products. Students will get a solid understanding of the intersection between ML technology and applications. They will be able to chase after and lead the development of innovative, responsible ML solutions in finance and computer vision.
The course will have two types of lectures:
90-120min lectures on generative AI and XAI fundamentals
30-45min lectures on applied generative AI, building generative-AI products, demo of the XAI library, and Concept Bottleneck Models
All lectures will have dynamic Q&A sessions at the end of day, and are suitable for audience in research, engineering and product.
