Lepton Flavor Violation; Fast photodetectors for LHCb experiment.
I have done my master here at Milano-Bicocca University, with an experimental thesis on the time resolution of multi-anode photomultipliers.
As a PhD student I'm carry on the experimental experience studying the time resolution of microchannel plate photomultipliers, for the future upgrade of the RICH system of the LHCb experiment.
I'm working on the analysis for the search of the τ⁺→μ⁺μ⁻μ⁺ decay, using Run2 dataset. In particular I've implemented a Machine-Learning model for discriminate Signal/Background events, a model for reduce Data/MonteCarlo differences and studied the trigger efficiency.
Apart from High Energy Particle Physics, I enjoy sci-fi series and films, videogames. Time spent reading Asimov's stories is never wasted.
