Bio

Since 2016 I am Full Professor of Experimental Physics of Fundamental Interactions at the University of Milan Bicocca.

Previously I was Extraordinary Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Milano Bicocca.

In the period 1990-2000 I have been Researcher at the University of Milan where I obtained a Ph.D in Physics in 1990.

I worked in electroweak and flavour physics for the DELPHI experiment at the LEP accelerator (Cern).

Since 2000 I have been in the LHCb experiment, for which I lead the group at Bicocca.

At the University of Milano-Bicocca, I am lecturer in charge of the "Laboratory I" course of the physics bachelor's degree and of the "Particles III" course of the physics master's degree and I am the coordinator of the PhD programme in Physics and Astronomy.
