I did my master at University, of Milano Bicocca working on the development and optimization of two novel flavour tagging algorithms using pions and protons.
I did my PhD at the University of Milano Bicocca (2019) joining the LHCb collaboration. Here I had the possibility to expand my knowledges in particle physics and computing working on the measurement of time-dependent and time-integrated CP violation into charmless charged two-body final states. The final results have been published recently and will help to improve the knowledge of the angles and phases of the CKM matrix.
In 2019, I joined the IJCLab research unit (Paris FR) where I spent a year and half as postdoc. There I kept working in the LHCb experiment focusing on a measurement of the longitudinal D* polarization and lepton universality in semitauonic decays, with the tau lepton decaying hadronically.
Finally, I came back to the University of Milano Bicocca as a postdoc in 2020. At the moment I am working on different topics: the finalization of the work started in Paris on the semitauonic decays; a new analysis on the research of the rare tau decay in three muons, in particular performing a set of studies on the variables for the particle identication of the signal muons and rejection of the mis-identified background; the development of the software elaborating the data that will be collected by the upgraded LHCb detector in 2022 and following years; studies on simulation for the estimation of the possible improvement that could be obtained in the future upgraded LHCb detector when adding the timing information in the RICH detector.
