Synopsis
This course introduces the cloud computing concept. This course introduces the knowledge of computing, networking, and storage related to virtualization and introduces the features of virtualization. The latest and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and cloud-enabling technologies are covered in this course. The course has also embedded with the contents from the Huawei Cloud Computing HCIA.
Course Content
1. Fundamentals of Cloud Computing
Understand cloud computing, fundamentals concepts, model and terminology, cloud enabling technologies, cloud infrastructure mechanism.
2. Introduction to Compute Virtualization
virtualization cluster features, VM features, operating system-based virtualization, hardware independence, server consolidation, resources replication, hardware-based virtualization, virtualization management.
3. Data Centre Technology
Standardize and modularity, automation, remote operation and management, security-aware design, computing, storage and network of data center.
4. Networks & Security Basic for Cloud Computing
Network architecture in virtualization, traffic on virtual network, cloud security threads, types of cloud computing mechanism.
5. Basic Storage for Cloud Computing
Physical disk types, centralized storage and distributed storage, virtualization storage and non-virtualization storage, VM disks, storage features.
6. Cloud Computing Trends
Fields related to cloud computing, cloud-enabling technologies, other emerging technologies.
