We are looking for a Senior Post Doc to join the Diamond Quantum Nanoengineering Lab at the European Laboratory for Nonlinear Spectroscopy (LENS), for the Italian National Institute of Optics of the National Research Council (CNR-INO).
Project activity:
The activity will be aimed at developing a compact quantum sensor based on diamond color centers, in the context of the Project “QASINO – Joint Laboratories ASI-CNR for Quantum Technologies”, and in a diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
In particular, we are looking for highly motivated candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: fiber-integrated optical systems; microwave electronics; programming in Python applied to the control of measurement and data acquisition hardware; use and programming of embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGA devices.
Requirements:
Master degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering; PhD in the same fields; plus two-years of grounded research activity.
