Prof. Dr. Angel Pontin Garcia

He is a professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, State University of Campinas (FEAGRI/UNICAMP). He earned his bachelor’s degree (2002), master’s degree (2007), and PhD (2011) in Agricultural Engineering from UNICAMP. His expertise lies in Agricultural Engineering, with an emphasis on agricultural machinery and implements. His main research interests include embedded control systems for agricultural machinery, precision agriculture, and agricultural automation.

SELF-PROPELLED SEEDER WITH ELECTRIC PROPULSION  - SEMEAR/ELT

The main objective of this initiative is to design and build a new self-propelled seeder—equipped with its own traction system, thereby eliminating dependency on a traditional tractor for towing—integrated with a hybrid power source and a 100% electric propulsion system.
