The influences of sustainability instruments and commitments on agricultural commodity production and land value.

In producer nations like Brazil, pressure for agricultural expansion is often driven by global demand for certain commodities, a factor that directly results in the advance of deforestation. The objective is to evaluate whether sustainability instruments and commitments have significant impacts on the expansion of agricultural commodity production and their influences on land prices. The aim is to test the hypothesis that sustainability policies help control the advance of production and influence land prices.
