Resumo: In this work, we describe the production of a BC/PS conformable and biocompatible substrate, for possible application in biophotonics via OLEDs, using a recycled polymer and green solvents. The optical transmission increased from 37% in the pristine BC to 83% in the obtained BC/PS membranes. The electrical properties of BC/PS+SiO2+ITO substrates are comparable with glass substrates. The fabricated devices have efficiency of 5 cd/A at 16000 cd/m2 and power density of about 2.6 mW/cm2 at 10V. Silk Fribroin preliminary results shows high values of brigthness as well as current efficiency up to 15cd/A. Some mechanical measurements still should be done in order to confirm its application potential.
