My work focuses on optimizing RNA extraction protocols for the transcriptome of the seed rain of native plants from the Atlantic Forest, with an emphasis on six species: Pera glabrata, Allophylus edulis, Guarea kunthiana, Schinus terebenthifolia, Lacistema hasslerianum, and Cupania vernalis. I want to identify changes and methods for an optimized extraction that prioritizes good RNA quality and integrity, aiming to facilitate research that depends on it.
