I graduated in Ecology from UNESP, where I studied a zoochorous tree species from the Atlantic Forest (Copaifera langsdorffii), investigating how landscape structure and frugivorous bird communities influence its occurrence and abundance.
I am currently conducting a research project focused on assessing the diversity and co-dispersal of fungi and seeds mediated by a frugivorous bird that inhabits dynamic environments within the Atlantic Forest.

I've always had a curiosity in the things that we cannot see with the naked eye. During my undergraduate's time, it's become my passion to understand how the littlest things in and out of life are interconnected with the bigger picture and how these two scales affect one another, that's why my main interests are ecology of microorganisms, molecular ecology and landscape genomics.
