Underhill has spaces for musicians to rehearse and develop their projects. The spaces we offer are ones that we ourselves would want to make music in. They are spacious, well-lit (or not if you don't want that), and equipped with the infrastructure to support whatever you're working on.

Underhill Studios is a music rehearsal and recording facility located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Established in 2022, we offer spacious, sound treated and fully equipped spaces for music creation set within a historic Capitol Hill building. We strive to elevate the music rehearsal experience through beautiful, conveniently located spaces for artists to work in and we take pride in being able to offer this in one of the busiest, and most well connected neighborhoods in Seattle. The studios operate alongside Underhill Music School creating a lively atmosphere in our (partially) underground lair that's bubbling with creative energy. We offer everything from hourly to long term lockout rentals and can help with scheduling and networking to find bands to team up with. We also put on weekly instructor led jam sessions in conjunction with the music school. We're here to work with you to find an arrangement that fits your spatial, schedule, and budget requirements!

This room is large enough to support large groups (up to 10-11 people) and is complete with a PA, variety of microphones, guitar and bass amps, house drum kit, and a keyboard. It's sound treated and the lights are customizable to set the mood. It's $42/hour for the first two hours and $21/hour for the rest. Monthly subscriptions are available.

This sound treated room is designed for drum practicign and tracking and can also be used as a rehearsal room for 2-3 musicians. There's a Yamaha Stage Custom (birch) house kit, variety of snare drums, high end cymbals, and an electric kit to play around with. A PA, guitar and bass amps, keyboards and mics are available as well. It's $28/hour for the first two hours and $14/hour for the rest. Monthly subscriptions are available.

In conjunction with Underhill Music School, we also offer weekly instructor led jam sessions. These drop-in jams are perfect for anyone who wants to start playing music with other people but doesn't know where to start. All skill levels on any instrument are welcome, especially beginners.
