CAMES Full Professor in Computer Science, Semantic Web (CAMES/LAFPT 2019), I hold a PhD (2010), a DEA in Modeling and Simulation of Complex Systems (2004) and a Master's degree in Distributed Computer Systems Engineering (2005) from the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale(ULCO) in France.

Recruited as a teacher-researcher at Université Iba Der THIAM (UIDT) from 2007 to 2021, then at Université Numérique Cheikh Hamidou KANE (UN-CHK) since 2022, I have held the positions of :

In addition, I am Scientific Leader of the Master in Artificial Intelligence(AI), the Master in Big Data Analytics(BDA) and the Master of Computer Science in Application Design and Development(MICDA), and Head of UN-CHK's Science, Technology and Digital doctoral program.

Within the University, I have been involved in a number of activities:

I have been a quality assurance expert on behalf of ANAQ-Sup since 2018, with more than a dozen assessments carried out to date. I am regularly consulted for the study of applications for funding, recruitment, studies for distinctions and awards, etc.  

In terms of teaching and training, I have more seventeen (17) years' experience in various higher education institutions.

On the research front, my activities revolve around several themes: Data Integration, Knowledge Engineering, Ontologies, Fact-Checking(Check4Decision Project  https://check4decision.uvs.sn/), Information Personalization, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for Decision Support.

I have supervised and defended three (03) doctoral theses, supervised and defended more than fifty (50) Master 2 theses, and published nearly fifty (50) papers in internationally-indexed journals.
