Donna Bradby | Director

Donna is a native of Greensboro North Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Theatre-Performance from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Arts Management from Virginia Tech. She is an Adjunct Professor and Director of Marketing and Publicity for the Theatre Arts Program at North Carolina A&T State University and teaches acting, arts management, stage management, theatre projects, and senior showcase. She has also taught at Bennett College, Elon University and Virginia Tech. As an actor Donna has appeared in Crowns, Dreamgirls, Once on This Island, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Eubie!, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone just to name a few. She has directed The America Play, Ethel Waters: His Eye is on the Sparrow, From the Mississippi Delta, The Old Settler, The Color Purple, This One Girl’s Story, Breath, Boom, A Raisin in the Sun, Mad at Miles: A Black Woman’s Guide to Truth and many more. She is the Executive Director of Touring Theatre of North Carolina a non-profit theatre dedicated to celebrating the on-going human search for dignity across lines of ethnicity, gender, economic status, religion, and age.

Emma Estelle Beneck | Philomel

Hi! My name is Emma Estelle Beneck and I am playing Philomel in Polaroid Stories. I am a BFA Design Tech major with a musical theatre minor. This is my second show acting at UNCG but my fourth show overall. I have loved diving into this show headfirst and truly getting to know all of my castmates. The family atmosphere we have created is truly amazing and I will remember it forever.

Mars Mignon | Skinhead Boy

Mars Mignon (SkinheadBoy) began pursuing acting back home in Asheville, NC, during his sophomore year of high school. He is currently a member of UNCG’s BFA Acting class of 2022. His onstage credits at UNCG include Pippin (Theo), Urinetown (Billy Boy Bill), Shakespeare In Love (John Webster), and Here We Go. Other credits include Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Yen (Bobbie), Once Upon A Mattress (Prince Dauntless), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck). He hopes you enjoy Polaroid Stories as much as he’s enjoyed being a part of it with such an incredible company!

Jailyn Feliz | Persephone

Howdy! My name is Jailyn Feliz and I am playing Persephone in Polaroid Stories. I am a 3rd year double major in BA Drama and Media Studies with a minor in Musical Theatre. This is my first time acting in full length play and this process has been an incredible experience for me. I'm learning so much from Ms. Donna and my peers. I wouldn't trade this experience for the world.

Elsa Wansink | Eurydice

Elsa Wansink (Eurydice) is a junior in the BFA Acting program at UNCG. Her previous credits include Hairspray (Penny), The Witches (Porcelain Doll), and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Nina). She wants to thank everyone who has worked on this production for making it an experience she will never forget!

Jade Alexandria Young | Echo

Jade Alexandria Young (Echo) is a Junior BA Drama student with a minor in American Sign Language from High Point, NC. During the spring semester of 2020, Jade studied abroad at University of Wales Trinity Saint David in the United Kingdom with a major in Acting. Though she thoroughly enjoyed her time abroad, she is thankful to be back at UNCG, which she considers to be her home. Polaroid Stories will be Jade’s fifth production at UNCG. Tthe rehearsal process has allowed her to bond closely with all of her castmates, who she now considers to be her best friends.

Malachi Mccaskill | Metamorphosis

Hey! My name is Malachi Mccaskill and I’m a freshman here at UNCG, a first year BA Drama major and a soon to be BFA Musical Theatre major in Fall 2021. This show has reminded me why I want to pursue theatre in the first place. The friendly atmosphere of the cast, director, stage management and crew has made this experience worth it, from the first zoom meeting to opening night. My first year in the College of Visual and Performing Arts has been encouraging, inspiring and everything in between. I can’t wait to see what else the CVPA has in store for a bright eyed, theatre loving freshman like me!

Meghan Bobbit | Skinhead Girl

Meghan Bobbitt is a BA Drama major and is portraying Skinhead Girl in the production Polaroid Stories. Meghan transferred to UNCG from Craven Community College in the fall of 2020 and it was the best decision she ever made. She's been a part of the world of theatre since she was young and is so excited to be sharing her passion with the Greensboro and UNCG community. Meghan is so appreciative of all the love and support that comes from The School of Theatre faculty and students.

Gary Harris | "D"

Gary Harris will be playing “D” in Polaroid stories. Gary began acting during his junior year of High School and was later accepted into the UNC School Of The Arts drama program for his senior year. While there, he played the role of “Macbeth” from the show Macbeth and “Antwan” from the show I and You. He played “Anthony” in the thesis film Lucky Brown before graduating in 2020. This will be his first main stage performance at UNCG since enrolling last fall and he is “Beyond Excited” to show what he and his cast have been working on.

Richard Carlton Browne | Narcissus

This is Richard Carlton Browne! He is a junior BFA in Acting major at UNCG with a minor in Musical Theatre. He will be playing the role of “Narcissus” in this production of Polaroid Stories. This is his fifth UNCG production, following playing “The Dancing Bear” in The Arkansaw Bear, “Frank” in Flyin’ West, “David/Grady/Examining Doctor” in The Normal Heart, and “Sam/De Lesseps Guard” in Shakespeare in Love. He is excited to continue his work here at UNCG with the help of the performance faculty and thanks his friends and family for their continued support.

Seth Nelson | "G"

Seth Nelson- G (a.k.a. zeus, hades): is a Texas born actor and director, and has enjoyed a second home in the theater for over 20 years. He received his B.F.A. in Theatre (with a focus in Acting and Directing) from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and is currently in his first year pursuing an MFA in Acting here at UNCG. Some of his favorite roles include: Lenny from "Marisol" (UNCG, 2020), Errick from "Ageless" (Four Walls Theatre, 2020), and Stanley Jerome from "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (Theatre Arlington 2019) among others. In addition to acting, Seth is also a musician, director and acting coach.
