PERFORMER BIOS

Gary Harris

Gary Harris (Julien) is the Sophomore BFA who plays Julien. He was recently casted as “D” in Polaroid Stories his freshman year at UNCG and Macbeth the previous year at UNCSA. He is currently looking forward to carving pumpkins for Halloween!



Amaya Lewis

Amaya Lewis (Tina) is Senior BFA Acting Student who enjoys painting, sketch doodling, baking, reading, naps on rainy days and hanging with good friends! Amaya has been in many UNCG Main Stage productions, and her favorite show so far, not including The Julies, is Marisol where she played the role of Angel. Shoutout to her closest friends and family for their love and support! <3

Xavier Henry

Xavier Henry (Johnny) is a junior BFA Actor at UNCG, most recently he was Orhan in Where Words Once Were. He's enjoyed his time here at UNCG, and is looking forward to everyone seeing this next production of The Julies. He says "I believe everyone is in for a surprise, even if they don’t know much about the play going into it."



Amabel Prisk

Amabel (Narrator) is a current senior pursuing a double major in Theater and Psychology. While interested in many aspects of theatre, Amabel is most frequently found acting, playwriting, and participating in devised performance. While not in school, Amabel enjoys hiking, cooking, and teaching yoga at the UNCG Kaplan Center. Amabel could not be more thankful for this opportunity and each person who has helped bring The Julies to life.

Garrett Noga

Garrett Noga (Jean) is a senior BFA in Acting with Minors in Musical Theatre and Business. He has previously appeared in UNCG productions as Orpheus in Polaroid Stories, Martin in Feeding the Moonfish, Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown, Swing/Ensemble in Pippin, and Saif/Paris/Hector in The Refugee Women. He would like to thank all of his friends and family who have been incredibly supportive of his journey so far and is so thankful to be given the opportunity to perform.

Libby Otos

Libby Otos (Julie O) is a second-year graduate student in the MFA in Acting program at UNCG. She is originally from Santa Barbara, CA and has worked in theaters in California, Oregon, Florida, and North Carolina. She has trained with Ali Faranakian, the director of New York City's Peoples Improv Theatre, John Basil, the founding director of New York City's American Globe Theatre, and appeared on stage with the late Ed Asner of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Libby has played with Improv groups in Santa Barbara, CA, Salem, OR, and in Chapel Hill, NC. At UNCG she has appeared in Carol Churchill’s Here We Go and George Bernard Shaw’s Saint Joan as the Archbishop. She is also building a resume in front of the camera. Libby recently shot two short films; Free Order, that will be shown at a number of area festivals this fall and a short thriller, Keep Me Company, that will be released in the spring of 2022.



Monai Greene

Monai (Julie B) is a junior BFA-Acting major. She has enjoyed acting and performing from a very young age, her first role being the Big Bad Wolf in a Three Little Pigs production in Kindergarten. While at UNCG, she has been in the shows;“Flyin’ West” and, “Skeleton Crew”. She enjoys theater a lot but has goals of pursuing a career in the TV and Film industry after graduation.
