Child-Centered Play Therapy: A Day of Practicing



Overview

Dr. Phyllis Post and Ms. Ami Camp are pleased to present “Child-Centered Play Therapy: A Day of Practicing.” This advanced workshop is appropriate for participants who understand the theoretical basis of child-centered-centered play therapy. The day will be highly experiential and will provide participants opportunities to practice the skills of responding to feelings, tracking, esteem building, returning responsibility to the child, setting limits, and choice giving.

Please bring a tote bag of toys to use during the day!

The target audience for the workshop is professional counselors, school counselors, play therapists, social workers, psychologists, and students. Participants are eligible to receive six (6) continuing education units or contact hours for full participation (AP Approved Provider #07-191; NBCC Approved Provider #4208, and the School of Social Work at UNCC).
