FORMATS

Poster Presentations

Posters provide an opportunity for continued synchronous/asynchronous engagement with scholarship during both days of the symposium. A poster presentation provides a visual representation of your research through text, charts, graphs, and other visual aids. A poster presentation allows viewers to read your research material at their own leisure and to interact with you-perhaps asking questions about your methods or your findings. Posters range in size, and you may present your poster as portrait or landscape format.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT A POSTER PRESENTATION IS OCTOBER 15.

Roundtables

Roundtables are 25-minute small-group discussions consisting of an approximate 15-minute presentation followed by an approximate 10 minutes of in-depth discussion. The roundtable sessions are informal opportunities to share completed or work-in-progress or to present an idea, success, or problem in order to receive feedback from a small group. The format offers all attendees an opportunity for learning, networking, and collaboration. There will be multiple roundtable sessions on each day of the event, and attendees choose which roundtable they want to join for each session. Time warnings will be given so all roundtables stay within their allotted time.

Workshops

There will be multiple workshop sessions each day of the event taking place concurrently with roundtable discussions. Workshops are 50-minute sessions intended to teach participants a concept or a skill with a dedicated portion of the allotted time to participant application and practice.

 DEADLINE

Proposals must be submitted by October 15, 2023. Proposal acceptance will be communicated by October 25, 2023.
