D.1. The collections are organized according to an accepted classification scheme and cataloging codes. 

D.2. There are written policies covering acquisition and utilization of books, periodicals and non-print materials, which are efficiently implemented. 

D.3. Audio-visual materials are well-organized and easily accessible to students. 

D.4. Provisions are made for regular updating, general care and upkeep of library materials and bibliographical tools. 

D.5. There are accessible and adequate research materials:  updated catalogs, on-line public access catalog (OPAC), vertical files, readers’ guides/indices, including bibliography of theses and dissertations done in the Philippines and all the theses and dissertations done by graduates.
