C.1. The library holdings exceed the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
C.2. Instead of maintaining an acceptable total, which is overstocked in some areas and deficient in others, the graduate school library maintains balance in its holdings.
C.3. Reading materials and references in print and/or non-print formats, are easily accessible though appropriate facilities and equipment.
C.4. The collections of books, periodicals and other library materials are adequate, to support the requirements of scholarship, research and instruction of both faculty and students.
C.5. There is a functional reference collection, for literature search, background readings and information sources.
C.6. Audio-visual materials for research purposes, such as maps, posters, pictures, micro-materials, films and film-strips, CD roms, and other instructional non-print materials are provided and easily accessible through adequate facilities and equipment.
C.7. The quality of the collections is maintained through periodic evaluation against standard bibliographies, thus avoiding unnecessary duplication of titles.
C.8. The graduate graduate school library has regular subscriptions to current and appropriate periodicals, and should have at least six professional journals for every curricular discipline.
C.9. The graduate graduate school library maintains and improves the quality of its library holdings, showing serious consideration on the recommendations of the following:
C.9.1. faculty members and professional library staff;
C.9.2. appropriate national professional organizations and learned societies;
C.9.3. internationally recognized listings of books and periodicals.
