SNAP helps older adults stretch their grocery budget by providing monthly funds to buy food. The benefits come on a card (like a debit card) and can be used at most grocery stores, farmers markets, and even some delivery services.
Bonus: Many SNAP recipients over 60 also qualify for extra food through programs like the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program.
