CSFP provides older adults (60+) with a monthly “Senior Box” of nutritious USDA foods—like canned fruits & vegetables, cereal, cheese, beans, and peanut butter—that supplements their regular grocery shopping. 

Boxes are distributed through local agencies such as The Food Bank Market, where participants can often skip the shopping floor line and go straight to pick up their box. The program is administered federally by USDA and at the state level by Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services, with local partners handling eligibility determinations and offering nutrition education
