Click on the "Day #" image below to teleport to recordings from the Live Zoom training sessions dated December 12th - 14th. These videos cover the information required to pass the IRS VITA Advanced Certification. Reviewing the practice cases is a large part of the viewing time. However, all of the practice cases were created to simulate the Advanced Certification Test case scenarios. If you can correctly complete the practice scenarios, you will likely be successful with the certification test cases. On each page, the videos are numbered in viewing order and titled with a brief description of the video.
Day one primarily covers software and online resources, a 1040 overview, filing status and dependency, and reviews the two simplest practice cases.
Day two provides follow up to questions lingering from day one in the "housekeeping" video, then focuses on the next two practice cases and provides some Q&As for additional information.
Day three provides follow up to questions lingering from day two in the "housekeeping" video, then covers the standards of conduct, intake process, HSAs, and various Q&As for additional information.
