Hello and welcome to my webpage! 

I began my career at the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) in August of 2000 as a part-time instructor, shortly after graduating from St. Louis University, and I began working full-time at UMSL in January of 2001.

I love taking a creative approach to mathematics, and I've developed multiple courses relating mathematics to topics including art, architecture, and music. I also love all things calculus! Check out my Teaching page for a list of my courses. 

In addition to teaching Mathematics for the Department of Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy & Statistics, I also serve as the Director of Introductory Mathematics, overseeing our Introductory Math courses as well as the UMSL Math Placement Test.
