Azali Saudi is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in Malaysia. Currently, he acts as the Head of Data Science Programme at FCI, UMS. His research interests include the areas of computational mathematics, artificial intelligence, and robot vision. He holds a PhD degree in Mathematics from UMS, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, and a Computer Science degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 articles in journals, book chapters, and proceedings. He leads research projects related to intelligent robotics, robot vision, deep learning, cloud computing, and computational mathematics.
