Academic (PEO 1)
Graduates of the Master of English Education program, UMS are equipped to develop knowledge and skills in the English language that align with advancements in science and technology, while also being grounded in Islamic values.
Employability (PEO 2)
Graduates demonstrate the capability to work professionally and autonomously at national and international levels in advancing English language instruction as a second or foreign language, while also fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Personal Skills (PEO 3)
Graduates play an active role in society and contribute positively to its advancement grounded in Islamic values.
STRATEGIES
PEO1:
1. Curriculum development integrating character building, knowledge, and skills development.
2. Development of adaptive learning models leveraging technological advancements with a focus on active student participation in the learning process, including Project Based Learning (PjBL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), and Case Study methods.
3. Enhancement of research collaboration and community service, alongside international partnership publications.
4. Development of research outcomes and community service outputs to advance the academic field of study, innovate more effective teaching methods, and enhance international communication abilities.
PEO 2:
1. Development of a learning model that prioritizes the enhancement of students' competitive character.
2. Strengthening skills related to mastery of knowledge in the development of English language teaching that supports professional fields through interdisciplinary activities. The MPBIng program has engaged in interdisciplinary activities such as regular Interdisciplinary Sharing sessions with academic and practitioner speakers from various fields.
3. Adapting the curriculum in accordance with advancements in science and technology and the needs of graduates' users.
PEO 3:
Development of students' skills to apply their knowledge in society.
Strengthening students' critical thinking skills in addressing social issues within the community based on Islamic values.
