Establishment and Research Directions

This laboratory was established on September 2019 and initially supported by 3 Researchers, Dr Mohd Mawardi, Dr Amir Izzani, and Dr Yasmin, which are members for Advanced Measurement and Sensing (AMES) Group, Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

Dr Mawardi's group is focused on fundamental and applications regarding electro-magnetism such as development of Non Destructive Test system using electromagnetic method, magnetic nanoparticles' characterization system, and FEM simulations.

Dr Amir Izzani's group is focused on observation and fundamental of lightning phenomena, high-voltage charge discharge and their measurement systems' development.

Dr Yasmin's group is focused on theoretical works and strategy on development of tomography system for applications such as multi phase detection in pipelines and so on.
