Women in Astronomy and Physics Lecture Series (WAPhLS) is a speaker series featuring women physicists and astronomers. There is so much great research that's been done and is being done by women in physics and astronomy, and we don't always get to hear about it in the courses that we take and teach. We want to highlight some of this research by hosting a virtual lecture series, held on the third Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm (central). For March 2022, the talk will be March 8.
Our target audience are undergraduate students, graduates, postdocs, and faculty of all genders across the country. However, we've had everyone from high school students to retired scientists and engineers participate!
