Parking

The Department of Surgery provides parking contracts for the Oak Street Ramp on Oak Street and Delaware for residents on service at UMMC. Parking cards at UMMC are service- and resident-level designated. It is the residents' responsibility to exchange parking cards properly.

Parking at Regions is available through the Surgical Education Office at Regions; at the VA no parking card is required, the surface lot is open to all. At all other sites, the on-site Education Office will provide details of how and where to park.

When not on service at UMMC, parking is provided in the Washington Avenue Ramp and East River Road Garage when attending Department of Surgery Grand Rounds. Parking vouchers can be obtained from the Surgical Education Office.

DO NOT park in the Fairview Patient Ramp as the Surgical Education Office cannot reimburse expenses in this ramp.
