All residents are expected to attend Grand Rounds and Core curriculum in-person, including research residents. Exceptions to attendance include residents involved in emergent patient care or those who are on vacation.
Attendance is monitored and promotion to the next year of training requires documented in person attendance of ≥75% of sessions during the academic year.
A hybrid-virtual format will continue to remain available for residents rotating in Duluth, residents who are taking sick leave (due to COVID-19 or otherwise), residents who are on parental leave, and faculty who are unable to come to campus.
