Biography
Hi I’m Ethan and I am from Diamond Bar in sunny Southern California! I received my B.S. in chemistry from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. I worked with Dr. Chantal Stieber investigating small molecule activation with bidentate NHC Ni complexes. Additionally, I was lucky enough to have summer research experiences with Dr. Ryan Trovtich (Arizona State University) and Dr. Joshua Buss (University of Michigan) in 2023 and 2024, respectively. All of which furthered my interest for inorganic chemistry! Outside of lab I enjoy exploring new breweries/eateries, spending time with friends, and binge watching Netflix!
