About Us
The 10,000 Families Study (10KFS) is a research study focused on understanding family health in Minnesota and nearby states. We are exploring how genetics, lifestyle, and environmental exposures work together to impact health.
As part of this work, we study common chemicals found in everyday life, such as radon (a naturally occurring gas), glyphosate (a widely used pesticide), and PFAS (“forever chemicals”) to better understand how they may be linked to blood cancers.

It's simple!
An adult in the family fills out a quick online survey to see if the family qualifies.
That person can then invite other family members to participate.
Participants complete a health questionnaire and a quick health check (mobile or in-person).
Each participant will receive an online gift card after completing the health visit.
