When working with faculty on exploring OER and open pedagogy a best practice is to suggest to start small. There tends to be a lot of questions about the difference between disposable and renewable assignments, so this graphic shows a snapshot of different assignment types and how they can scale up or down in terms of audience engagement. It also shows how some faculty may already assign an authentic or constructive type assignment and with a bit of a push, they can transform them into renewable assignments.
