Students will be completing a project on either an astronomer or ancient culture that isn’t typically covered in major textbooks. This renewable assignment offers many ways for students to have agency and choice over their projects including both licensing and submission format. It also gives students the opportunity to provide a meaningful impact on future students, and the body of work in astronomy, by making contributions to the textbook.
