This Podcast Project has students take turns interviewing each other to discover and understand the life of a college student while highlighting what makes that person unique.

Podcasts serve as a widely embraced medium for sharing information among a wide range of audiences. This method of communicating requires oral, written, and listening skills that are essential in public speaking. As pairs, students will develop podcast interviews and conduct mock podcast episodes taking turns interviewing each other to better understand their perspective on what motivated them to attend college.
For this assignment, each student will take turns recording an interview with their partner during class. After interviewing their partner, they will complete another recording where they are interviewed. For those comfortable, the students will share their interviews with college staff to be considered for sharing via social media.
