Parking

GPS address of (closest) Parking Garage:  385 E River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN  55455 - East River Road Garage. 

Please note that this parking garage is very large - allow extra time to locate a space and make your way into the Great Hall.

Directions to Coffman Memorial Union Great Hall from the East River Road Garage:

- Take the parking garage elevator to the plaza level (Level "1") and go north across Delaware Street to Coffman Memorial Union (CMU). Once inside, the Great Hall will be on your left.
- In inclement weather, take the elevator to "Level A" and follow the signs to the “Gopher Way” tunnel to Coffman. You'll emerge in the basement of Coffman. Take the stairs, then the escalator up to the ground floor. The Great Hall will be on your left.

The deadline to request parking has passed. If you did not request parking, you can try other ramps and lots near the venue - Art Museum Garage, Church Street, and Washington Avenue ramp are the closest. 

Hotel Accommodations

There are no blocks of rooms reserved, but a few close hotel options are:

The Graduate Hotel Minneapolis

Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis University Area

Courtyard by Marriot Minneapolis Downtown

These are all adjacent to campus, but any hotel in the downtown Minneapolis area would be easily accessible to the fair via the light rail (information below).

Transit

The Metro Transit Light Rail is a convenient and safe way to reach the campus. Tickets can be purchased at stations or contactless through the Metro Transit mobile app. Face coverings are required while riding Metro Transit. 

The East Bank Light Rail Station is a 5-7 minute walk to Coffman Union. Walk west down Washington Ave to reach Coffman Union from the station.

Metro Transit buses drop off in front of Coffman Union's north entrance. 

Set Up 

The law fair will take place in the Great Hall of the University of Minnesota Coffman Student Union.

If you enter Coffman from the East River Parking Garage/Mississippi River side: the Great Hall is on that main floor on your left.

If you enter Coffman from the main University mall, the Great Hall is one floor down.

Registration for both students and law schools will take place right outside the Great Hall doors.

Boxed lunches from local restaurant, Kafe 421, will be provided to law school reps.

Schedule

11am - 12pm - Law School exhibitor check-in, pick up box lunch, set up table

12 - 3pm - Fair open to participants

3 - 3:30pm - Fair concludes, clean up
