The Inclusive Innovators Summit will bring together Midwest graduate students, postdocs, and faculty with academic and entrepreneurial leaders to build insights and solutions for inclusive engagement in research commercialization and science entrepreneurship.

This summit is a program of the NSF I-Corps Great Lakes Region Hub

Track Information

Track One: Professional Development for Early Career Innovators
  • Graduate students (e.g. GEM Fellows), postdocs and early-career research scientists and faculty, especially those defined by NSF as underrepresented in STEM fields

  • From institutions within the Great Lakes I-Corps Hub region

  • Travel expenses funded via affiliate and partner I-Corps participant support funds

Track Two: Inclusive Strategies for I-Corps Program Leaders




The Inclusive Innovators Summit - Objectives 

 Exposing early-career innovators to commercialization concepts and expert resources

Sharing best practices in attracting, retaining, and supporting under-represented innovators

                      Building community among academics interested in translation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship

Creating connections between diverse academic innovators and the entrepreneurial ecosystem

 A block of rooms has been reserved for Monday 17th  & Tuesday 18th at the Graduate Minneapolis hotel (shown on the map above in pink) which is walking distance from McNamara Alumni Center.
