About Me: I’m a PhD in Culture and Teaching. I am originally from Mexico and did her previous academic training in Social Anthropology at the National School of Anthropology and History of Mexico City. She is interested in Migration and Diaspora, Ethnic Identity, Cultural Studies, and their intersections with Education. The geographic areas of research interest are Latino America and East Asia.

Why I'm Passionate About CIGS: Thanks to CIGS, I’ve been able to meet so many incredible, talented, and smart people from all over the world and befriend many of them. In addition, CIGS has granted me a space to be vocal about my concerns as a graduate student and advocate for our needs.

I’ve presented at conferences in Mexico, the United States, and Canada regarding Migration, Anthropology, and Education.
Fun Facts:
I have a black cat named Mefistofeles - he is the best thing in my life. Also, I like dancing, karaoke, and hanging out with my friends.
